ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions is Hiring Aircraft Sheet Metal Workers

ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions is a limited company owned by Singapore Technologies Engineering, the world's largest MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operator. We repair aircraft components in our workshops in Arlandastad and deliver components to customers worldwide. In Arlandastad, we have approximately 70 employees working across two different workshops in the areas of structures, hydraulics, pneumatics, and administration.

We are now looking for Aircraft Sheet Metal Workers

ST Engineering Aerospace is currently seeking new employees for our production unit, Product Team Aerostructure, located at Arlanda Airport. The team consists of approximately 30 employees. The main responsibility is the inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft components within the structural domain.

Product Team Aerostructure covers the following areas of expertise:

  • Composites
  • Sheet Metal Work
  • Machining
  • Painting

Main Product Areas: Nacelles, thrust reversers, fan cowls, engine inlets, airframe structural details, flight controls, radomes, fairings, cabin interior details, etc.

Key Responsibilities for Sheet Metal Workers:

The role involves sheet metal repair of structural components and some manufacturing of spare parts. You will replace mechanical parts of structural components, order spare parts, and perform maintenance on products according to existing documentation. The position requires extensive drilling and riveting with high precision, demanding a high level of craftsmanship. Work is carried out under the guidance of documentation written in technical English.

Your Background:

  • Education in aircraft sheet metal work, sheet metal work, or equivalent.
  • Experience as an aircraft sheet metal worker or sheet metal worker, or practical experience from similar trades.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Basic computer skills, as material ordering and other tasks are handled via computer.
